The Men’s Suit Jacket Block provides professional patternmakers with a solid foundation for drafting semi-fitted suit jacket designs. The block has basic wearing ease, making it suitable for use with woven fabrics.

The block includes a single-breasted front with a waist dart, side body, back, notched collar, upper-sleeve, and under-sleeve pattern pieces. It also includes suggested pocket positions, buttonhole markings, guidelines for matching plaids and the roll line; lining and facing patterns are not included with the block.

This block comes in twelve graded sizes (US 34–56), with each size clearly marked on the pattern pieces using distinct line styles for easy identification. A detailed body measurement chart is included to assist in selecting the correct size. Seam allowances are not included.

Comprehensive printing instructions are provided to ensure accurate scaling across US Letter, A4, and A0 formats. While the block itself may not be resold, patterns developed from the block may be used commercially.
